About

Stories have always been my way of understanding people.

Writing under the pen name Naynaa, I explore the many shades of love, relationships and
human emotions through fiction and non-fiction. My stories often weave romance with
emotional depth, exploring the choices, connections and complexities that shape our lives.

I am the author of the romance novels She Waited on the Shore, Love Beyond Threshold and
The Other Woman
, along with the poetry collection Of Gratitude. Two more books - a
romance thriller and a relationship-focused non-fiction work - are presently in the publication
pipeline, while almost a dozen other manuscripts, waiting their turn to be completed, are
scattered across my table as I write this.

Before devoting myself to writing, I spent almost twenty years as an English educator in
leading schools across Delhi NCR. I hold an M.A. in English and an M.Ed., along with a Post
Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy (PGDCFT)
. My academic and
professional interests in relationships and human behaviour have also led me to undertake
Social Psychology of Attraction and Relationships, Psychology of the Self and Psychology of
Group Behaviours
through the American Psychological Association
, as well as The Arts and
Science of Relationships: Understanding Human Needs
from the University of Toronto.
These experiences continue to enrich my understanding of human connections and inform
my writing.

Travel, too, has been an enduring source of inspiration, with journeys through Italy, Greece,
Turkey and Egypt, many other distant corners of the globe and the quaint, scenic landscapes
of India finding their way into my imagination and stories.

When I am not writing, I enjoy reading, travelling, discovering new cafés over a good cup of
coffee - and simply being myself.
